General PMU Contraindications

Permanent makeup may not be suitable if you are:

Pregnant or breastfeeding

Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation

Using Accutane (within the last 6–12 months)
-
Prone to keloid scarring

Have uncontrolled diabetes
-
Have active skin infections, rashes, or open wounds in the treatment area

Have certain autoimmune conditions (medical clearance required)
-
Have recent Botox or fillers in the area (waiting period applies)
A consultation is always required to assess suitability.
Pre and Aftercare
Pre Care

Avoid brow tinting, lamination, waxing, or threading 7 days before

Do not tweeze or shape brows before your appointment

Avoid chemical peels or laser treatments near brows 4 weeks before
After Care
-
Brows will appear darker initially — this is normal
-
Light flaking may occur between days 3–7
-
Do not pick or scratch
-
Avoid brow makeup until healed
-
Keep brows dry when showering for the first few days
-
Apply very little balm 2x a day
